Rathbone
Rathbone is a UK-wide voluntary youth sector organisation providing opportunities for young people to transform their life-circumstances by re-engaging with learning, discovering their ability to succeed and achieving progression to further education, training and employment.
In 2008 / 2009 Rathbone worked with more than 17,000 young people through our programmes delivered at or from our 70+ centres.
Rathbone in the North East works from four centres. We run the programmes Youth Engagement, Part Time Choices, Foundation Learning (E2E), ESF Sparc (Gateshead) and Apprenticeships which help young people achieve accredited qualifications in Mathematics, English, City & Guilds 7546 Employability Skills and many other recognised Vocational qualifications.
Rathbone in the North West work across the sub regions of Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Lancashire delivering four work streams of Employer Based Training (Apprenticeships) Foundation Learning, Youth Choices (KS3&4 programmes) and Youth Engagement. In each of our programmes we strive to incorporate the best of Youth Work, Skills Training and Personalised Learning.
